He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Kennedy Powers; his children, Kenneth Young, Edwin Powers (Amy), Elaine Stone (Mark) and Audrey Batey (Jim); and his brothers, Billy Powers (Debra) and Tom Powers. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
