He is survived by: his children, Dwight David Davis, Jr. (Lisa) and Jenny Lynn Pierce (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Daniel N. Davis, Julia L. Davis, Jason B. Pierce and Veronica H. Pierce; and his sisters, Linda Custis and JoAnn Davis.
