She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd James Brinkley, Sr. and Susie Baines Brinkley; her husband James Albert "Jim" Lassiter, Sr.; her siblings, Catherine Brinkley Hollowell and Floyd James Brinkley "F. J." Brinkley, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Gale Lassiter.
She is survived by: her sons, Al Lassiter of Elizabethton, TN, Phil Lassiter (Carla) of Elizabethton, TN and Michael Lassiter (Betsy) of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Britt Lassiter (Molly) of Elizabethton, TN and Brinkley Allen (Daniel) of Emporia, VA; her stepgrandchildren, Shannon Raxter (Gregg) of Surfside Beach, SC and Clint Gulledge (Melina) of Hartsville, SC; and her sister-in-law Betty Brinkley of Suffolk, VA.
