He is survived by: his wife Jean Fields Funderburk; his children, Neill Watson, Hess Putnam and Stephanie Putnam; his siblings, Carl Funderburk (Barbara) of Greenwood, SC and Joan Cooper (Bill) of Greensboro, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Lee Funderburk, David Cooper, Teresa Funderburk and Peggy Downing. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
