She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Benson Watts and Gertrude Watts Howard; her stepfather Rushton Howard; and her siblings, Dot Watts Hilton, Sarah Linna Watts, Robert Watts, Tom Watts, Warren Watts and Wallace Watts.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Ivey; her children, Gerald Ivey (Cindy) and Page Ivey (Jan Hogan); her grandchildren, Jamie Ivey (Claire Campbell), Emily Ivey and Katelin Ivey; and her siblings, Betty Watts Stoupenos and David Watts. She is also survived by her husband, her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Immanuel Baptist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
