He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Charles Marshall; and his wife Margaret Marshall. He is survived by: his mother Betty Tiller Flowers; his stepfather Carl Flowers; his sisters, Dottie Nash (Dennis) and Sally Tyner; his stepchildren, Barbara Saverance (Jimmy) and Jimmy Caples; his grandchildren, Ashley Gandy (Jason) and Brandie Thompson (Paul); his nieces, Tabitha O'Neal, Leslie Tyner, Victoria Elvington (Houston) and Shelley Ouzts; and his nephew Darren Nash. He is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews.
