He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Boyd and Sue Graham Hayes of Bennettsville, SC.; his brother Charlie Clifton Hayes; his niece Eva Marie Grayson; and his brother-in-law Johnny L. Gaskins.
He is survived by: his sisters, Annie Sue H. Gaskins of Florence, SC and Mary Kay H. Johnson of Florence, SC; his sister-in-law Patricia S. Hayes of Fayetteville, NC; his nieces, Jennifer Wafer (William) of Ridgeway, SC, Deborah Davis (Chuck) of Rock Hill, SC and Kimberly Johnson (David Wafer) of Mooresville, NC; his nephew Clifton Hayes of Hillsborough, NC; and his aunt Anna Margaret Graham of Dillon, SC. He is also survived by five great-nieces; two great-nephews; and numerous beloved cousins.
