He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Coy Byrd and Reather Vernell Rhames Conyers; his wife Patricia "Pat" Ann Odom Byrd; and his siblings, James Lee Byrd, Dorothy Blackwell, Vera Powers and Patricia Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Reginald "Reggie" Byrd (Beth) of Summerville, SC and Robin B. Anderson (Paul) of Florence; and his grandchildren, Joshua Byrd, Rebecca Byrd, Jordan Matthews and Emily Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Florence Memorial Gardens (3320 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501).
