He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Phillips and Betty Jane Knott Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Dody Phillips of Florence; and his sons, Eric Phillips of Colorado and Benji Shepard (Dawn) of Crossville, TN. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
