He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barrie Jean, Nell and James Claude. He is survived by: his wife Carrington; his children, Barringer "Bif" Fox Wingard, III (Liz Letzelter), Krista Wingard Dickson (Matt) and Margaret "Meggie" Baker Daniel (Ben); and his grandchildren, Emma, Luke and Sophie Daniel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waters-Powell Funeral Home (400 S Dargan St, Florence, SC 29506). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent for the Florence Veterans Park, City of Florence in care of the Veterans Park Committee, 324 W Evans Street, Florence, SC 29501; the Florence Area Humane Society, P.
