He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Meloyd Ward and Lenora Bullard Ward; his wife Anna Jernigan Ward; his grandparents, Arthur Bullard and Ester Bullard; and his brothers, Emanuel Ward and Francis Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Ward (Shana) of Waunakee, WI and Chasity Cass of Florence, SC; his stepson Ken Soles (Beth) of Hampstead; his grandchildren, Morgan Cass, Sophia Ward, Connor Ward and Parker Ward; and his stepgrandchildren, Haley Soles and Zachary Soles.
