He was predeceased by: his parent Will Elijah Joyner; and his siblings, Richard Joyner, Leroy Joyner and Martha Joyner Broach. He is survived by: his parent Lillian Morris Joyner McGee; his wife Betty Jeffords Joyner; his sons, Terry Will Joyner (Ann Tiller) and Robert Venson Joyner; his sister Mary Joyner Pierce; and his sister-in-law Julia Joyner. He is also survived by grandchildren, Chapel Joyner Isgett, Syndi Joyner Webster, Andrew Will Joyner (Sian) and Jada Joyner Case; five great-grandchildren.
