He is survived by: his mother Minnie Lee Blathers George of Darlington, SC; his children, Mitchell Sloan of Walhalla, SC and Nychell Sloan of Walhalla, SC; his siblings, Virginia Bacote (Allen) of Darlington, SC, Dr. Mary E. Timmons of Florence, SC, Wesley George of Lamar, SC, Ronnie George of Lamar, SC and Alton George, Jr. of Newport New, VA; his sisters-in-law, Edell George of Lamar, SC and Alberta George of Lamar, SC; and his caregiver Harry Patterson. He is also survived by four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.
