It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annis Thompson Raines of Florence, South Carolina, born in Olanta, South Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loran Ezra Thompson and Violette Ruth Thompson; her husband Charles E. Raines, Sr.; and her daughter Charlene Annis Raines. She is survived by: her children, Karen Hobbs (Curt) of Fayetteville, GA, Susan Weaver of Chapin and Charles E. Raines, Jr. (Kelly) of Olanta; and her grandchildren, Summer Hobbs Shealy (Paul), Aubrey Weaver Wood (Todd), Sara Hobbs Honeywill (Sean), Chad Weaver (Anna), Ally Weaver Rivers (Parker), Charles Raines III and Andrew Raines. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
