She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Gee and Lucille Anderson Gee; her son John Walter McKay; her sisters, Jonnie Gee Collins, Barbara Gee Mozingo and Lillian Gee Turner; and also, Willie M. McKay, Sr. and Archie Catoe, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Will McKay (Laura), Mark McKay (Betsy) and Karen Calcutt (Bryan); her stepchildren, Art Catoe (Jane) and Teresa Welch (Alan); her grandchildren, Heather Willis (Ray), Brooke Benatzky (Carlos), Brittany Lawhon (Jordan), Kate Calcutt and Ellie McKay; and her stepgrandchildren, Al Welch (Allison), Amy Mattison (Neal), Courtney Ruminski (Greg) and Art Catoe (Samantha). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
