It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amanda Leigh Scearce in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Roy and Sally Poff of Salem, VA.. She is survived by: her husband Edward Lee Scearce, III (Buddy); her children, Trotter, Maggie and Tobin; her parents, Lesley and Ricky (Poff); her sister Sherry [Greer] Reichow of Ashburn, VA; her grandparents, Pauline and Derrick (Graves); her father-in-law Ed [Lea] Scearce, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Jena Scearce of Hartsville, SC, Mark [Nicole] Scearce of Ashville, NC and Brad [Anglene] Scearce of Normal, IL; and her nieces and nephews, Derrick, Michael Reichow, Kody Proffit, Nelson Scearce, Rose Scearce, Emalee and Madelynn Scearce. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers we are asking everyone to consider giving to Amanda's passion as a way to honor her.
