He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kay McLendon Chapman of Florence; and his sons, Alton Boyd Chapman, Jr. (Stephanie) and Sohn Ray Chapman. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
