She was predeceased by: her parent Mallie McClain. She is survived by: her parent Lottie James; her children, James Brown (Willie Mae), Gail Moses and Thomas Davis; her siblings, Virginia Hanna, Louvenia Brown, Marion Robinson (Azalee) and Frierson James (Betty); and her aunts, Beatrice Rorie and Carrie Mae Boston. She is also survived by great grandchildren raised in the home, Qualik Moses, Semaj Moses, Anoree Banks, Des'Ja Isaiah and Brian Isaiah; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
