He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenwood R. Thomas, Jr. and Jeraldine Adams Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Thomas; his children, Tara Thomas, Sarah Thomas, Savanah T. Ellis and Lenwood R. "Woody" Thomas, IV (Jo Mims); and his siblings, Nancy T. Rentz (David) and Joseph Michael Thomas (Maggie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces, and nephews.
