We bid farewell to Janet Elizabeth Zeigler McKenzie (Fairfax, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 20, 2025 at the age of 59. Janet Elizabeth Zeigler touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Hunter Zeigler of Fairfax; her grandparents, Colon P., Ruth C. Hunter of Hampton, Edward A. and Maude S. Zeigler of Fairfax; and her father Robert M. Zeigler.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny McKenzie of Hampton, SC; her children, Nina Christine McKenzie Whitehead (Seth) of Union, SC and John Christian McKenzie of Hampton; her grandchildren, Samuel James and Ella Olivia Whitehead of Union, SC.; and her siblings, Susan Zeigler Massey (Robert Northway) of Port Royal, SC and Robert M. Zeigler, Jr. (Torri) of Pinehurst, GA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Fairfax (725 7th St W, Fairfax, SC 29827). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
