She was predeceased by: her spouse Garnet B. Hill; her parents, Arthur Judson Hurst and Lavern Gates Hurst; and her siblings, Laura Anne Whaley and Arthur J. Hurst.
She is survived by: her sisters, Vivian Stokes of Florida and Carolyn Moulder of Mississippi; her sister-in-law Judy Hurst; her niece Rebecca Kite; and her nephew Bill Kite.
