Tyler Edward Nix Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tyler Edward Nix of Fair Play, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Nix and Swanee Harbin Smith; his daughter Connie Holbrooks (Scott); and his sister Susan Smith (Tommy). He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Ann Nix; his children, Christopher Patterson (Rachel), Brian Nix (Carolynne), Devan Gainous (Wayne) and Shawna Nix; and his brothers, Tim Nix (Lynn) and Perry Smith (Sheila). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harvest Church (936 S Depot St, Seneca, SC 29678). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the First Baptist Memorial Park.
