He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie "Les" Howard and Elizabeth Jane Prosser Beard, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Deanna Gregory Beard; his children, Lisa Ullmann of Florida, Cody Beard of Aiken, SC, Peyton Beard of Aiken, SC, Rachel Golding of Aiken, SC, Stephanie Hembree of Asheville, NC and Savannah Hembree of Fair Play, SC; his siblings, Lynn Beard of Fair Play, SC and Ann Bartholomew of Wilmington, NC; and his grandchildren, Michael Ullmann, Braxton Beard, Eligh Rice, Ethan Rice, Micah Hembree, Jayden Calloway, Cristiana Mendez, Harlee Powell and Hazelee Powell.
