She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Johnson and Elsie Johnson; and her husband Billy Strickland. She is survived by: her siblings, Doris Rhodes, Marilyn Causey, Barbra Cooper, Mike Johnson, Sammy Johnson and Jimmy Johnson; and her children, Melinda McAlhaney (Bill), Johnny Strickland, Billy Strickland (Ellen) and Tanya Roberts (Todd). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
