He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Royal Winningham and Hessie Winningham; his wife Helen Bradley Winningham; and his siblings, Lawrence Winningham of Savannah, GA, Nell Edwards of Ellabell, GA and Lee Ennis of Garden City, GA..
He is survived by: his daughter April Winningham of Columbia, SC; his sisters, Cathy Richardson of Vicksburg, MI and Lisa Tapp Harris (Gilford "Bo" Winningham) of Guyton, GA; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Bradley and Judy Brown of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
