She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Ambrose McMillan and Elma Fischer McMillan; her son James Walker Varner (Jimbo); and her siblings, Bill McMillan, George McMillan, Robert McMillan and Adeline McMillan Mazyck.
She is survived by: her brother Sherod McMillan (Linda) of Summerton, SC; her sisters-in-law, Louise McMillan and Sara McMillan of Charleston; her children, Mary Varner Hutto (Alton) of Mt. Pleasant, Lloyd Varner (Beverly) of Hanahan and Jill Varner Crawford (Larry Munoz) of Goose Creek; and her granddaughters, Lauren Crawford (Michael Eide) of Newburgh, NY, Leslie Varner Hurley (Sam) of Edisto Island and Jenna Crawford of Brooklyn, NY.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She died from COVID-19 and pneumonia and because God was ready for her to come home.
