She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Sam Haskell and Eva Haskell; her mother Rosella Haskell Waring; her brother Sam Arthur Waring (Junior); her son Wilbur High; and her brother-in-law Sammie Vanager.
She is survived by: her husband Lawton High, Jr.; her sons, Wayne High (Paula), Jack K. High, Darrell High and Gary L. High; her stepson Robert Lee Brunson (Charlene); her daughter-in-law Linda High; and her sisters-in-law, Carrie B. Vanager and Pernell McCullough-Jones (Theodore). She is also survived by grandchildren, several loving great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.
