He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril M. Shuman and Annie Marian DeLoach Shuman; and his daughter Stacey Shuman. He is survived by: his wife Janet Cook Shuman of Furman; and his siblings, Dianne Patterson (J. O.) of Garnett, Sally Boyd (Ed) of Beaufort and John Shuman of Bluffton.
