He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Dyer Sr. and Hazel Simmons Dyer. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Dyer Simmons of Exeter, Tracy Allen Dyer of Hendersonville and Stacy Allen Dyer of Simpsonville; and his siblings, Iris Waldrop of Enoree, Jimmy Dyer of Greer and Michael Dyer of Enoree. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
