It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Owen of Enoree, South Carolina, born in Brevard, North Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lavelda Louise Trusty Eubanks of Piedmont and A. L. Owen Sr.; his wife Bennie Parrish Morgan Owen; his children, Telly Owen of Anderson and Tara LeAnn Owen Glenn of Clinton; his stepsons, Kenny Morgan of Simpsonville and Rev. Deryk Morgan of Georgetown; and his siblings, Anita Putnam of Townville, Carolyn Bently of Fleming Island, Florida, A. L. Owen Jr. of Piedmont, Wade Larry Owen of Laurens, Leslie Owen of Piedmont and Grover Lee Owen. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren.
A private family service will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at Woods Cemetery in Balsam, Grove, N.C.
