She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Sanford Gassaway; her parents, Carl Milton Moore and Laura Beatrice Cooper Moore; and her sister Catherine Moore. She is survived by: her children, Milton Gassaway (Gretchen) and Viv Knighton (Phillip); her siblings, Floyd Moore and Carlette Howard (Jerry); her grandchildren, Rebeccah Stevens, Haley Teague (Nick), Jonah Stevens (Cara), Meredith Panther (Chris), Ryan Knighton (Tori) and Adrianna Lancaster (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Remi, Scarlet, Holly, Rayne of Elodie, J. D. and River.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (13683 US-221, Enoree, SC 29335). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery (13683 US-221, Enoree, SC 29335).
