She is survived by: her children, Sonji Jasmila Spurgeon, Stanley James Spurgeon, Stevins Jerome Spurgeon Sr. (Karen) and Scott Joseph Spurgeon; and her siblings, Rebecca Durrah (Ivy), James Ferguson (Naomi) and Gerald Ferguson.
