He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shelley Ann Smith Gassaway; his parents, David Franklin Gassaway and Judy Ann Tucker Gassaway; his children, Gaelyn Jackson (Wayde), LaDora Smith, Denise Hubbard, Ricky Hubbard (Bailey) and Jacob Hubbard; his sister Michelle Walker (Charlie); his grandchildren, Abby, JoJo, Jayden, Jackson, Carson, Hensley and Harper; his niece Brittany Bonneau (Nick); his great-nephew Christopher "Tater" Bonneau; and his pets, Sophie Possom, Biscuit Marie, BeBe Bernard, Brutus Brutmeister and DaVita Palmetto Dialysis Clinic.
