It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neomi Aiken (Elloree, South Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher David Gardner and Moudester Shivers Gardner; her husband Edward Aiken; her son Thomas Aiken; her sisters, Geneva Gardner Simmons and Anna Gardner Glivens; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Aiken, Charles Aiken, Roosevelt Aiken, Annie Aiken Haigler and Martha Aiken.
She is survived by: her children, David Aiken (Audrey), John Aiken (Gail), Betty McKenny (Ernest) and Ruth Hayward (Albert); her sister Betty Gardner Aiken; her daughter-in-law Patricia McCoy Aiken; her siblings-in-law, Annette Aiken Jennings and Thomas Aiken (Lee); and her grandchildren, Kia Johnson (Aaron), Tene'Aiken, Albert Hayward II, David Aiken Jr., Anyah Aiken, Christina McDonald (Carlo), Amelia Hayward and Annissa Prince. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
