It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Viola Grooms (Elgin, South Carolina), born in Abbeville, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul L. Grooms, Sr.; her son LeRoy Grooms, Jr.; and her grandson Dustin Grooms. She is survived by: her son William Bruce Grooms; and her sisters, Ruby Nell Baker, Virginia Seibert, Mildred Bell and Margaret Ann Parker.
