With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Howell of Elgin, South Carolina, born in McDowell, Kentucky, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Bee Howell; his siblings, Vester Howell, Teddy Howell, Edith Frasure, Flotine Jones and Barbara Belcher; his former wives, Loretta Howell (Radob) of Ohio and Mary Howell (Moore) of Kentucky; and his grandson Shaun Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McGuire of South Carolina; his children, Jack Howell (Patty), William Howell, Cyndi Moehn (Kevin), Teresa Bailey (Gary) and Susie Shetterly (Thomas); his stepson Francis Bartlett (Dana); his daughter-in-law Lynn Howell; and his grandchildren, Chris Howell, Brandon, Christy Horn, Bradley, Zach, Jenny Bailey, Craig, Aaron Bartlett, Bethany, Krysta Moehn and Gabriel Short.
He played music for various charity events and fund raisers, even including some television shows.
