She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard and Bessie Mae Nesbitt; her former husband Joseph A. Turner; and her siblings, Allen Nesbitt, Buddy Nesbitt and Mary Varnadore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Sturgeon of Elgin and Teresa Balleza (Primitivo) of Pelion; her grandchildren, Brendan Sturgeon and Gabi Balleza; and her siblings, Ruby Ross of Elgin and Lil Chavis (James) of Eastover.
