She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Corbin and Ruth Smith Corbin; her husband Jerold Thomas Newton, Sr.; her son Jerold T. Newton, Jr.; and her siblings, Willene Redd, Paul Corbin and Thomas Corbin.
She is survived by: her children, Karen McInerney of Elgin, Patty Morrison (Eddie) of Lyman, SC and Randy Newton of Elgin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
