He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Otis and Liddie Perry Goff; his son Preston Henry Goff, Jr.; and his siblings, Bobby Goff, Larry Goff, Gladys Potter, Mary Pate and Betty Brazell.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Blume Goff; his daughter Jennifer Albert (Rusty) of Elgin; his sisters, Pat Motley and Derice Dehon; and his grandchildren, Alex Hall, Tyler Hall, Chelsea Brewer (Jim) and Maggie Albert.

Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
