She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Canty, Sr. and Betty McCray; her husband Clarence Bethea; her adoptive mother Thelma Farmer; and her siblings, Earnest McCray, Johnny Lee McCray, Alice Atkinson and Carolyn Robinson.

She is survived by: her children, Nathan Allen Farmer and Stacy Lynn Williams (Ricco); her grandchildren, Javaughn Goode, Tara Brown, Rahmel Burton, Niya Farmer and Michael Geter; her great grandchild Zane Burton; her goddaughter Maggie Ann McCray; her siblings, Leroy McCray (Lauvern), Patricia McCray, Mickey McCray (Louise) and Sandra King (Donald); and her sister-in-law Mammie McCray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
