It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Catoe Wieters (Elgin, South Carolina), who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zellie Armstrong and Mamie Hilton Catoe; her husband Herbert Adolf Wieters; and her siblings, Edwin, Woodrow Catoe, Myrtis Catoe, Polly Albertine Jones and Anice Bauknight.

She is survived by: her brother-in-law Holmes Bauknight. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church cemetery fund, 2140 McBee Highway, Jefferson, SC 29718.
