She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Laverne Hinnant, Sr. and Lucille Smith Hinnant. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Hatchell, Sr.; her sons, Richard L. Hatchell, Jr., David W. Hatchell and Charles L. Hatchell; and her brother Thomas L. Hinnant, Jr.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
