James Wilbur Hammond Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wilbur Hammond of Elgin, South Carolina, who passed away on March 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Cora Bell Hammond Medlin; his siblings, Woodrow Medlin and Dale Brazell; and his granddaughter Susan Salmond. He is survived by: his children, Bryan Hammond (Kim) of Florida and Barbie Spence (Duane) of Lugoff; and his siblings, Frances Summerton of Elgin and Thomas Medlin (JoAnn) of Elgin. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
