With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Smith Legg III of Elgin, South Carolina, born in Webster, Texas, who passed away on June 25, 2021 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Smith Legg Jr. and Barbara Hollins Legg; his daughters, Kymber Hollins Legg (Geri) of Florence, Ella Elizabeth Legg and Amelia Anne Legg (Jenell) of Columbia; and his sisters, Michelle Delores Johnson (Tim) of Andrews and Cynthia Nicole Johnson (Brian) of Washington, DC. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Florida; and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Democratic National Committee at secure.actblue.com or the National Rifle Association at donate.nra.org which were two of Jimmy's closely held passions.
