He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. A. LeGrande and Elsie Ruth Becknell LeGrande; and his daughter Laurie Nicole LeGrande. He is survived by: his children, Henry David "DJ" LeGrande, Jr. and Katie LeGrande; the mother of his children Betty Vesga; and his siblings, Steve LeGrande, Karen LeGrande, Michelle Hawkins (Keith), Susan Kelley (Alvin) and Gayle Steele (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia Society.
