He is survived by: his parent Eugene Towers; his wife Suzanne Pritt Scott; his daughters, Dawn Swaney (Chad) of Elgin and Heather Valentine (Lance) of West Columbia; his sister Zona Sable (Jerome) of Brunswick, OH; his grandchildren, Madison Swaney, Aaron Valentine and Austin Valentine; and also Juanita McGraw Towers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, Men's Ministry.
