She is survived by: her husband William Murdaugh Gates; her children, Timothy Lemoine (Becky) and Hannah Gates (Darren); her grandchildren, Clyde Lemoine and Haven Mattox; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Gates, Jonah Gates and Simon Gates.
