He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennie C. McCracken and Lillian Mae Cantrell McCracken; and his grandson Dylan. He is survived by: his wife Helen Diane Vaughn McCracken; his children, Christopher McCracken, Patrick McCracken (Angela) and Matthew McCracken; his grandchildren, Caleb, Colby, Zachary, Sebastian, Kaitlyn, Madelyn and Kaylee; and his sisters, Claire Bailey (Harry), Marlyn McCracken and Michelle Huntley (Jay).
