He is survived by: his wife Debbie Newton Moats; his children, Shana Chappell and Joe Chappell (Alexandra); his parents-in-law, Bob and Becky Newton; his grandchildren, Grayson Sanders (Jennifer), Brandon Sanders (Katie), Garin Chappell and Colin Chappell; his great grandchildren, Riley and Walker Sanders; his siblings, Glenn Moats, Debbie Chandler and Diane Rochester; his nephews, Michael and Christopher; and his niece Angela.
