She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Lee Root (Edie) of Winnsboro and Edward Scott Root (Nimy Paul) of Chesterfield, VA; and her nieces and nephews, Robert Lee Root II of Columbia, Erin Elizabeth Root of Charleston, Carrie Lee Rostron of Miami, FL, Neville Jos of New York City, Ananya Root of Washington, DC and Naomi Root of New York City.
